Sodexo is currently seeking entry level and experienced inpatient Registered Dietitians to join our healthcare team at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, California located 35 miles north of greater Sacramento. Rideout is a Level 3 Trauma Center that consists of a 173 bed facility and the hospital recently had an expansion and  implemented the Sodexo Room Service Program. In this role, you will conduct nutrition patient assessments and diet education as needed, with some knowledge of higher acuity disease states including ICU patients and have a strong desire to continue learning and advancing clinical skills.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will:

  • Be a Registered Dietitian or RD eligible for certification;
  • educate patients, family members and the facility staff on concepts of nutrition and diet modifications;
  • have a working knowledge of EMR charting ( Cerner), nutrition informatics; 
  • preferably have some knowledgeable of patients with chronic kidney disease, wound and skin impairments, diabetes management, enteral and parenteral nutrition,as well as, critical care, oncology, cardiac care, pediatric and maternity.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 
 
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
 
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
