Sodexo is seeking Full-Time Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend; a 388-bed acute care hospital located in Springfield, Oregon, one of two Sacred Heart facilities in the Eugene-Springfield area owned by PeaceHealth.

 

 

3 weeks vacation and 3 personal days!

The successful candidate will:

 

  • Work in all areas of the hospital (inpatient) providing care to inpatients with a variety of disease states. This is also a great opportunity to cross-train with the clinical team in disciplines that allow a higher acuity level. 
  • Perform patient screens, assessments, education and documentation utilizing and Utilize Epic EMR documentation; 
  • Implement care plans and counsel patients and family members as needed;
  • Work In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, a strong team of dietitians in a challenging acute care setting;
  • Be involved as a preceptor for dietetic interns, new hires, interns and peers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 
 
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
 
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
