Role Overview

Sodexo Seniors is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 1  for Jenner's Pond, a large upscale continuing care retirement community located in West Grove, Pennsylvania.  This Environmental Services Manager will report to General Manager and assist in overseeing the housekeeping and laundry operations for 2 buildings on campus.  Typical shift will be 7:00-4:00pm, and on call some weekends. 

What You'll Do

 

  • Be responsible for driving client and resident satisfaction scores;
  • provide direct handling of incoming calls, follow-up and other administrative duties / tasks as needed;
  • schedule staff and assign duties;
  • support payroll and HR functions of reviewing hourly employees within Kronos, hiring, counseling, training; and
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Bring

 

  • two or more years of environmental service management experience;
  • knowledge of general housekeeping standards and floor care knowledge;
  • ability to develop and motivate a team of 15+ hourly employees to exceed the expectations of clients and residents;
  • the ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion; and/or
  • experience improving resident satisfaction, and driving full compliance to local, state and federal standards.
