Are you a  Restaurant Manager or Food Service/Retail Manager who is looking for ongoing career growth opportunities?  

 

Sodexo is seeking a Restaurant Manager (Retail Manager 3) for Black Hills State University  in Spearfish, SD, with a campus enrollment of ove 3,000 students. Spearfish is only 40 minutes from Rapid City - the 2nd largest city in SD.

 

Reporting to our General Manager, the Retail Manager will oversee a busy Einsteins Bagel, a coffee shop, automated 24/7 vending machines, beer concessions for Football and Basketball, and support other campus dining during summer months. The Retail Manager will provide leadership, training and development for 10 hourly employees.

What You'll Do

  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline employees(hourly-paid);
  • oversee  automated vending and POS programming and maintenance;
  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed;
  • maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands);and
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

What You Bring

  • 2 - 4 years management experience in food retail, large restaurant, food court, or other food concepts;
  • leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
  • demonstrate initiative, be a self starter and leader.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations
