Sodexo Facilities Solutions is seeking a Facilities Project Manager in Boston, MA to supervise projects within the Facilities Engineering Department at Tufts Medical Center

 

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Facilities Project Manager is responsible for safety, quality and budget for projects ranging in size. Responsible for the support of the Hospital and Departmental Mission of providing a safe and respectful environment for all hospital individuals. Additionally, delivery of construction projects such as corporate facilities, physician offices, ambulatory surgical centers and laboratories. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Preparing project status reports and ensuring work adheres to contract specifications.
    2. Leading and directing the work of others in a Healthcare Environment.
    3. Effective Communication of corporate information to the project team as well as keeping updated project files.
    4. Directing and supervising the work of project administration, project superintendents and engineers to establish operation priorities and maintaining satisfactory relationships.
    5. Creating and executing project work plans.
    6. Establishing a liason relationship between the Planning, Design, & Construction Department and Facilities Plant Operations and Maintenance Department.
    7. Responsible for the overall management of the project (e.g. resources, schedule, cost tracking) to ensure complete solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
    8. Manage cost and program documentation.
    9. Effectively overseeing subcontract management.
    10. Develops PCRA and ILSM for all assigned projects.
    11. Implementing and monitoring Safety and Hazard communication programs.
    12. Monitoring Quality Control and holding supervisors accountable for their deliverables.
    13. Carrying out job duties while maintaining Hospital values.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum education requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum management experience: 5 years
