Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 1

Sodexo is seeking an innovative and hands-on Environment Services/Custodial Manager 1 to provide leadership at Katz Jewish Community Center. This Manager will be responsible for execution and delivery of work order flow, custodial equipment inventory, coaching and training, and customer satisfaction. The ability to multitask, and handle multiple priorities is essential for this role. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. • provide a clean and safe environment for students, faculty, visitors and staff via effective leadership and direction to custodial staff; 
• participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments;
• ensure equipment safety and compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs and by providing safety-related training and equipment inventory maintenance;
• be able to perform cleaning tasks as needed, hands-on;
  
• administer Human Resource processes (hiring, performance reviews, constructive counseling, training, prepare work schedules, payroll, etc.);
• ensure Sodexo Operating Standards for Environmental Service are in place and consistently met.

• a flexible schedule and can work a shift with the hours of 4 PM to 12:30 AM, with possible weekend and holiday shifts;
• have experience leading and managing a team and as a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system;
• are results and safety driven;
• have knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures in a leadership capacity;
• can multi-task and set priorities; and/or
• are proficient with computers and other technology.
