Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with proven success as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician II to support services for Comanche County Memorial Hospital located in Lawton, OK.  

 

The main role/responsibilities of the Biomedical Equipment Technician 2 will be to ensure all related biomedical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, strong technical skills and a commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner.

The ideal Biomedical Equipment Technician II should have: 

  • Experience in OR/Cath lab and/or sterilizer strongly preferred
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
  • experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • the ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices
  • excellent communication, customer service and time management skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
