Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Dietitian Nutritionist to join their clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton, a 50 bed facility. The Dietitian will assist the Smithfield location as needed. This new team member will be responsible for providing support to inpatient units and outpatient clinics, as assigned. 

 

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Dietitian with at least one year of acute care clinical experience!

 

Potential for some remote work!
Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!
Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

 

The successful candidate will:

  • provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
  • administer outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy to clients through evidence-based nutrition care;
  • work virtual rotating weekends providing coverage for both hospitals;
  • perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
  • educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses; and
  • precept dietetic interns.

  • Registered Dietitian credentials with 1+ years acute care experience and be licensed in NC;
  • strong verbal and written communication skills;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 
 
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
