Sodexo is seeking an experienced Unit Controller 3 to support the financial reporting for our dining services program at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New JerseyCooper is a 650 licensed bed trauma facility. This position will oversee approximately 200 non-union employees.Cooper University Health Care is the leading academic health system in South Jersey and provides access to primary, specialty, tertiary, and urgent care, all within one complete health system

 

The Unit Controller 3 will be responsible for cash handling especially with concession sales, weekly and monthly reports. Position will provide unit financial support for weekly flash projections, participation in final budget reviews, forecast updates, period close, and ad hoc reporting for this $10M account.

 

 

The successful candidate will:

  • manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reconciliation of the activities of current and future contracts as assigned per contract terms;
  • conduct monthly analysis of financial performance of clients or suppliers;
  • external clients for the contracts the analyst manages;
  • conduct client or contract specific reporting and analysis; and/or
  • conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

  • MBA preferred

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement – Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years in accounting, finance or a related field
