Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Rockledge Regional Medical Center, located in Rockledge, Florida.  This 298-bed facility is 1 of 3 healthcare facilities within the Orlando Health System.  Rockledge Regional Medical Center is the leading, fully integrated, and comprehensive health care provider on the Space Coast. Our primary care doctors and specialists prioritize preventive care and put the patient first. They work as a collaborative team to manage chronic health issues, so patients spend less time in the hospital and more time with their loved ones leading healthy, active lives.

What You'll Do

**This position will be heavily focused in the patient services department and will also provide oversight for the retail outlet**

  •  have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;
  • deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management)
  • develop strategic plans;
  • ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
  • have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;
  • create a positive environment; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
