Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and motivated Food Service Manager to oversee the Dining Services at the University at Albany. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful operation of dining services, including high-volume service of 3,000 meals a day. As Food Service Manager, you will lead and supervise a team of on-site food service staff, while upholding Sodexo’s business practices and core values.

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day dining and culinary;
  • Interface closely and daily with residents, client executive level leadership and client board members;
  • control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved;
  • ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved.

What You Bring

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
