Are you a talented individual looking for your next profession in Greensboro, NC? Sodexo is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer 1 at Moses Cone Hospital.

 

ISE I Position Description:

 

Under supervision this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.

 

The ISE I for this role will possess:

  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Multiple years as an experienced BMET or have 1+ years of imaging experience
  • Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
  • C-Arm, Portable X-Ray, & Ultrasound experience preferred 
  • Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

What You'll Do

  • ensure all medical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner.
  • repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices;  in a hospital or healthcare setting;
  • ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices;
  • specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment: DiCom, Siemens, Toshiba, Philips, GE Healthcare, XRay, Ultrasound, C-Arm, Cat Scan, MRI/CT, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Wet or Dry Processor, General RF, Clinical Asset Management, Accelerators.

What You Bring

  • experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices; 
  • experience in a hospital or healthcare setting;
  • ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices; 
  • excellent communication, customer service and time management skills; 
  • specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment:  sterilizers, vents, dialysis, pumps, anesthesia, monitors, general biomedical equipment
  • certification as a Biomedical Technician (CBET).

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Reuqirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
