Sodexo is hiring a Temporary Fulltime Registered Dietitian for Good Samaritan Society-- Kissimmee Village, a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Kissimmee, Florida. Good Samaritan Society has earned a reputation for exceptional service and attention when providing rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.  

 

This is a 12-14-week hybrid position, working 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely. The targeted start date is March 2025.

What You'll Do

  • provide nutritional care to about 120 long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients;
  • meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
  • be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences and 9am standup meetings;
  • represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff; and/or
  • support the food service operation as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire  

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
