Sodexo Campus Dining is seeking a Chef Manager to oversee our Student Dining at Black Hills State University n Spearfish, SD - only 40 miles from Rapid City. Reporting to the Executive Chef, this Chef Manager will oversee student dining operations in the Resident Dining hall - serving over 800 meals a day. Our Resident Dining hall consists of 6 stations including; Comfort/Homemade station, Pizza/Pasta station, Grill/Burgers station, Salad/Deli Bar, and World's Fair which has  weekly rotating international offerings including Asian, Mexican, Indian, Greek, etc.

• oversee Student Resident Dining - multiple food stations, and catering;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

• a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;
• excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
• strong coaching and employee development skills;
• experience overseeing catering - developing menus per client/customer request; and/or
