Executive Chef 3

Sodexo Schools is seeking an ambitious Executive Chef candidate who not only understands the culinary arts, but also possesses a drive to increase participation through team training and strong leadership skills. This position will service a potential sale in the Florida Panhandle area of a large school district serving nearly 30,000 students in 40 school locations. The ability to lead from a hands-on approach and drive new initiatives in school dining and catering offerings is the prime dynamic of this role. • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
