Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is looking for a highly skilled and confident individual to fulfill an Imaging Service Engineer III role located in Glenview, IL. 

 

Glenbrook Hospital is one of 8 locations within the Endeavor Health-NorthShore University HealthSystem. Endeavor Health is privileged to serve more than 1.3 million patients across Chicagoland, providing access to more than 7,100 expert physicians and advanced practice providers across more than 300 sites of care including eight Magnet-designated, award-winning acute care hospitals: Edward (Naperville), Elmhurst, Evanston, Glenbrook (Glenview), Highland Park, Northwest Community (Arlington Heights), Skokie and Swedish (Chicago) and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health Hospital. All hospitals will retain their names and will join together with all outpatient and corporate locations, as well as the health system’s single integrated medical group and clinically integrated network under the Endeavor Health brand.

 

 

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

  • Test electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections
  • Repair or replace defective parts
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests

What You Bring

The Imagining Service Engineer III will possess: 

  • Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices including X-rays, Rad room, C-Arms, Bio-Rad Fluor, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Portables.
  • Have at least 7+ years' experience in an imaging role
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
  • Prior knowledge of renowned medical equipment, preferably GE, Philips, Siemens, Carestream, etc.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training. Significant factory-level training of imaging equipment contributing to the effectiveness of the organization. Preferred CRES nationally
