Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for Hazard ARH Medical Center.  This is a 385 bed facility in Hazard, KY managing a team of 20 on Evening Shift, Monday-Friday with some weekends and holidays.  We are seeking a custodial manager to assist with all environmental services responsibilities. Should be flexible to cover other shifts as business needs arise. 

What You'll Do

The successful EVS manager will supervise the custodial/housekeeping operation in this high traffic hospital. Overall, will manage, train, lead compliance and usage of our Sodexo programs and best practices. Must be results driven and understand employee engagement. The ability to work independently will be paramount for this position.

What You Bring

  • is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a health care housekeeping system;
  • has in-depth knowledge of Sodexo ES systems and processes 
  • has 1-3 years previous custodial or housekeeping management experience in a hospital or health-care environment;
  • has experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon time-lines;
  • has experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;
  • is proficient with computers and other technology
  • is responsible for driving client and patient experience scores
  • Provides a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
  • Supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
