Facilities / Engineering Operations Manager 1

Sodexo is seeking a Facilities Engineering Operations Manager in Piscataway, NJ. As an operations expert, you will support with the oversight of day-to-day facilities operations, including hard and soft services, preventative maintenance, and vendor and inventory management to ensure top-quality service. Your organizational skills will shine as you handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and support our client in maintaining the highest level of service. You belong on a team where your attention to detail and leadership can drive success in a fast-paced environment.

• Support account FM teams, acting as a resource for communication, client relationships, account coordination, and problem-solving.
• Basic knowledge of facilities systems, including HVAC, fire safety, electrical, plumbing, and minor renovations.
• Assist with implementing strategic, tactical, and operational reporting to improve customer service, account profitability, client retention, and satisfaction.
• Aid in the development and administration of site operations training plans.
• Proactively identify and address work orders or projects requiring immediate attention.
• Recommend operational improvements, identify necessary resources, and assist with implementation plans.

• 2-3 years of successful experience in Facilities Management, including hard and soft services, HVAC, electrical, plumbing operations
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on relationship building and effective communication.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and skilled trades.
• Demonstrates effective leadership in managing client, customer, and vendor relations.
• Focused on staff development and team building, ensuring strong team performance.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex facilities and deliver high-quality service across multiple areas.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
