Food Service Manager 2

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Food Service Manager 2 for Millard Public Schools!  In partnership with Sodexo Schools Division, the Food Service Manager will continually support the nutrition needs of more than 23,000 students, always striving for a high level of customer satisfaction. The Food Service Manager implements quality improvements, communicates changes throughout the department and district, and collaborates daily with school kitchen staff and school administration to ensure program compliance. • have oversight of day-to-day operations while creating a positive environment

• deliver high-quality food service 
• assist the Executive Chef with catering
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships 
• help to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (DCHD, HIPAA/Privacy Act, USDA) as well as Sodexo/MPS policies and procedures for quality assurance and safety
• manage, support, and collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with core menus, proper use of ingredients, and recipe standards

• a culinary background
• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively 
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service 
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
