Role Overview

Sodexo is currently seeking a Purchasing Manager forthe largest Lehigh Valley Hospital location –Cedar Crest (1,227 beds) located in Allentown, PA.  Allentown is the fastest growing major city in Pennsylvania and just a short drive away from the "City of Brotherly Love", Philadelphia, PA.

 

Prior experience purchasing for high volume food and beverage accounts is a must. The Purchasing Manager will provide direct support to 5-10 frontline associates. This position will be responsible for order development, inventory, budget management and proper receiving/storage procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee and place daily orders (food, beverages, nutrition supplies, feeding supplies and equipment, etc.)
  • Work closely with vendors
  • Proper rotation of all products
  • Manage all Floor Stock and Clinic Deliveries
  • Organization of stockroom
  • Project management
  • Sysco Procurement knowledge
  • Direct supervision of 5-10 staff members
