Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for Miami Jewish Health in Miami, FL. Miami Jewish Health has an 80-year reputation for providing high-touch personalized care, customized daily activities, soothing routines, and comforting support. The Chef Manager will oversee the daily kitchen operations and manage a staff of approximately 10 hourly employees. Bilingual skills a plus!  Learn more about Miami Jewish Health at Miami Jewish Health.

What You'll Do

  • oversee daily operations of the kitchen (trayline and dining room service);
  • perform tray assessments to ensure food quality, temperature and tray accuracy;
  • handle food ordering and inventory;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • perform functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development.

What You Bring

  • up to 2 years food service management experience in a skilled nursing or hospital setting;
  • the ability to successfully lead, develop and train a team;
  • basic culiniary knowledge;

  • excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
