Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Sodexo is seeking an onsite Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for Troy University in Alabama. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills, and must enjoy working with clients, vendors and the facilities management team to achieve excellent customer service. This position will assist with the resources to complete reactive and preventative work orders with vendors, technicians, and the client, in campus facilities.

• Assist team with vendor management, vendor selection and onboarding
• Actively participate in scheduling meetings with partners to finalize priority of work orders
• Assist manager with the hiring, training and onboarding processes and other duties as assigned
• Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order completion
• Approach all aspects of the work being performed with safety as the highest priority, ensuring OSHA regulations are followed
• Obtaining accurate proposals, issue purchase orders with NTE, monitor work completion and obtain work completion paperwork, final receipt in CMMS for invoicing 
• Handle routine facilities operations by procuring supplies and services, assigning work orders in CMMS, use written and verbal communication as a liaison between vendors and client

• Ability to lift 40 pounds, stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work flexible hours, on call weekly rotation (on call is weekends and evenings)
• Basic knowledge of building utility systems, including appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical
• Excellent customer service skills and orientation, with the ability to always maintain professionalism.
• Demonstration of strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion
