Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian for Hillcrest Medical Center located in Claremore and Pryor, OK.  This is a community hospital setting and offers an exciting opportunity for a split role between inpatient and outpatient settings while working in a collaborative environement on-site and from a larger team of dietititans in the Tulsa area. Flexible working with one day remote work per week and daily hybrid working

What You'll Do

  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units including a 6 bed ICU
  • Conduct education and counseling sessions for outpatient referrals for a variety of diagnoses
  • Provide group counseling for cardiac rehab patients bi-monthly
  • Occasionally travel to and/or provide nutrition services to other Tulsa Market Hospitals including Claremore/Pryor, Cushing, Henryetta, and Bailey Medical Center
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department
  • Educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses; and assist the Food Service Management team, as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
