Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 2 - Food for our unique account, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital, in Tulsa, OK. This account is a specialty surgical hospital located within our Universities segment. This position oversees the foodservice of a 50 bed hospital in South Tulsa, providing room service for patients & catering meals for doctors and staff. Culinary knowledge is needed along with basic computer skills, financial record-keeping, client/guest relations skills and maintaining high operating standards. While a solid team is already in place, the successful candidate will have experience in recruiting, hiring, training & motivating team members to provide great quality food and service to the patients and guests.
This position works very closely with the kitchen supervisor on ordering, inventory levels, food quality, food safety, as well as, labor scheduling, patient & guest satisfaction and the financial reporting components of the business, so computer knowledge is important.

A Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian would have special consideration for this position, as those skills would be of good use in building specific menus and addressing dietary restrictions as needed.
