Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 for Harbor UCLA Medical Center.   

 

Harbor–UCLA Medical Center is a 570-bed public teaching hospital located at 1000 West Carson Street in West Carson, an unincorporated area within Los Angeles County, California. The hospital is owned by Los Angeles County and operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, while doctors are faculty of the school of medicine of UCLA. The facility is one of two adult level I trauma center (providing the highest level of surgical care to trauma patients) operated by Los Angeles County.

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
  • lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
  • effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Bring

  • experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and patients;
  • experience in custodial management in a hospital setting, preferably a Trauma Center
  • strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program;
  • monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
  • a results and safety driven mindset;
  • proficiency with computers and other technology;
  • ability to work a day shift, Monday - Friday, with the flexibility to work other shifts as needed.
