Role Overview

Sodexo’s Corporate Services is seeking a Cafe Operations Manager for our premier client in Columbus, Ohio.  

The Cafe Operations Manager oversees hospitality operations per Sodexo's and client's goals, directs customer interaction and management of the Sodexo hourly associates. This position will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction through exceptional food and catering services, while achieving set budgeted targets.  We seek a strong hospitality leader with a proven commitment to excellence in client and guest hospitality, teamwork, financial results, and collaboration to help us achieve our vision.

This location is open for Breakfast and Lunch Monday – Friday and provides catering service five days a week inclusive of evening events. The best-qualified candidate will possess good team building, financial acumen, client relationships, and tech skills.

 

 

 

What You'll Do

  • Manage frontline staff
  • Oversee the cafe's financial paperwork 
  • Manage daily operations of food service to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory, and resources, ensures operating standards are met
  • The opening and closing the operation
  • Be innovative every day
  • Have oversight of daily operations

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
