Dietitian Nutritionist II

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU located in St. Louis, Missouri. SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital has been recognized as a 2024-2025 Best Children’s Hospital by U.S. News & World Report.

Excellent full time position opportunity to work with the top ranked Pediatric Gastroenterology department in the state and one of the top 20 in the nation, by US News and World reports! 

• Have prior acute care experience outside of a dietetic internship program and have an interest in working with infants, children and teens.
• Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary health team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness in the pediatric population
• Willingness to support multiple specialty units, participation in performance improvement projects, and providing training and nutrition education in a variety of settings.
• Have demonstrated experience in the areas of pediatric nutrition, tube feeding management, pediatric malnutrition, and counseling

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
