Sodexo is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer 2 for Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solutions.

This legacy continues today at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, a 197-bed acute care facility that joined the Guthrie health care system in February 2024. Guthrie Lourdes is home to a surgery center, cancer center and birthing center. We also offer infusion services, laboratory services, complete imaging and radiology services, and mental health services. In addition, our hospice and home care teams provide care to patients in their homes. Unique to the region, Guthrie Lourdes operates two mobile mammography vans, two mobile dental vans and a mobile medical van.

ISE II Position Description:
Under supervision this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
