Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Food Production Manager for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center located in Boston, MA.  In this role you will work primarily early morning and day time hours Monday-Friday, but will need the flexibility to work as the manager on duty every third weekend. In this role you will oversee all procurement for the Food Services operation in a 750+ bed hospital, supporting 3 separate kitchens and 3 retail outlets across both campuses.

 

What You'll Do

  • work with the Executive Chefs to oversee all food services purchasing across three kitchens
  • implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for the hospital
  • maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
  • provide direction to all front line associates

What You Bring

  • experience in a food production setting, healthcare environment would be a plus
  • strong financial acumen, and experience with ordering and inventory management

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
