Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Operations Manager 3 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center to oversee the daily operations, with a focus on patient services. This role ensures high quality food service for patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in food & patient service management, team leadership, and operational efficiency in a healthcare or similar setting.

What You'll Do

- Oversee daily food service operations, including patient meal service, cafeteria functions

- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations 

- Supervise, train, and mentor staff, including scheduling and performance management

- Address patient and customer feedback to improve dining experiences

- Achieve company and client financial targets and goals

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
