Sodexo is seeking a Human Resource Manager 3 to join our team at UC Health Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.  UC Health brings together the region’s top clinicians and researchers to provide world-class care to the Cincinnati community and beyond. The HR Manager will be responsible for all HR duties for a segment of employees to include onboarding and orientation for new hires, employee engagement, employee relations, HR policies, and more. 

 

 

What You'll Do

  • Manages HR function for a specific segment of onsite Sodexo client teams, including hourly recruitment, policies and procedures, onboarding, off-boarding, training, general leave of absence, and employee records
  • Assist hiring managers with all aspects of the new hire process
  • Guides new hires to the right subject matter experts for benefits, payroll, timekeeping, etc
  • Works with all levels of the business, including frontline employees, supervisors, mid-level managers, and directors
  • Supports the talent acquisition process with our recruiting team to ensure positions are approved, posted, and sourced to find the best candidates at all levels
  • Supports managers with employee relations concerns under the guidance of the HR Leader
  • Assists management in planning, developing, and implementing HR activities
  • Balances the needs of employees and management with relation to employee performance and policy alignment

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years          

Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
