Are you an experienced proposal manager adept at managing people and processes?
Sodexo has an immediate need for a Senior Manager, Proposal Content Development (RFP) to lead a team of RFP Strategists in the end-to-end management of proposal submissions. This role oversees a high-volume pipeline of sales requests for proposals, ensuring brand consistency, engagement, and high-quality submissions. The Senior Manager plays a key role in supervising project assignments, managing personnel, and fostering professional growth within the team.
Location: Remote (US-based, candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.)
Proposal Development Leadership: Oversee the high-volume proposal process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
Project Intake & Assignment: Review incoming RFPs, assess due dates, and allocate projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with internal clients, sales leaders, and stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards for proposal content, structure, and messaging.
Process & Efficiency Improvement: Implement best practices and consistent methods to enhance proposal development and submission.
Technology Utilization: Leverage Workfront (project intake), Adobe software, and proprietary AI tools. Future integration with Salesforce.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 13 remote Proposal Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
High-Volume Proposal Management: Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, handling multiple RFPs with minimal customization while utilizing AI tools for content creation.
Content Strategy & Messaging: Guide messaging direction, ensuring proposals align with the company's value proposition and maintain brand consistency.
Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of business challenges, competitor strategies, and industry trends to inform proposal strategy.

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in English, communications, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including five years in proposal, marketing, or sales content development.
At least three years of management experience (RFP team management preferred).
Association of Proposal Management (APMP) certification and Shipley training required.
Strong command of the English language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Superior project management skills: highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in content writing, grammar, and messaging.
Ability to develop a content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and articulates a clear value proposition.
Experience working in high-volume proposal environments with minimal customization.
Knowledge of AP and company style guide standards.
