Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for a healthcare account overseeing food and retail services operations at AtlantiCare City Campus in

Atlantic City, NJ.

 

AtlantiCare is an award-winning integrated healthcare system based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, whose team of more than 6,500 serves the community in over 110 locations in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, and Ocean counties of southern New Jersey.

 

The Operations Manager is responsible to support the department in all areas of the business.  Management team is comprised of an Executive Chef, General Manager, and 20 frontline employees!

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations;
  • successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships 
  • develop strategic plans;
  • ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring

  • have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a healthcare system;
  • have experience driving customer service and/or guest satisfaction results in a healthcare environment is preferred;
  • possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
  • can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading hospital committees and change management;
  • have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
