Role Overview

Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Cambridge Hospital located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  Cambridge Hospital is a part of the Cambridge Health Alliance System based in the Boston Area. The manager will oversee a team of 40 hourly hospital employees and 2 Sodexo managers. 

 

 

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations, including interaction with patients, nursing staff, and customers
  • manage monthly inventory and handle weekly Sysco ordering
  • oversee training for all staff members
  • manage food safety and sanitation compliance
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • oversee patient tray assessments
  • ensure all Sodexo  and hospital standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
