Role Overview

Sodexo is currently seeking a Manager, Supply Management, to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the hospitality category working with the Entegra team in North America. The ideal candidates should possess a procurement background, along with the ability to understand data-based information systems, manage an RFP process, and communicate within all levels of the organization. 

This is a remote position; candidates should reside anywhere within the U.S.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Continuous evaluation and improvement of procurement practices with knowledge in sourcing for managed categories, budgeting and forecasting of supply chain revenue, analysis of spend to identify opportunities within non-contracted areas and ensuring a strategic sourcing process is fully implemented across all categories.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Management team and with business leaders in the organization to identify opportunities for collaborative development of products and/or services that yield cost savings and revenue generation.
  • Negotiate Supplier Agreements that deliver value to market segments, including best price, service, quality and conditions, while also aligning to the organizational goals.  
  • Supports operational market segments with cost reduction strategies; implementation of supply chain programs and resolution of program challenges
  • Support vendors with the Collaboration Portal Management
  • Work to ensure consistent tracking mechanisms are accurately maintained

What You Bring

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental supply chain theories, principles and concepts
  • Knowledge and technical expertise in the managed categories to achieve results. 
  • Understanding of contract terms, including but not limited to Insurance and Indemnification, termination clauses, audit provisions, and federal laws
  • Knowledge of RFI and RFP processes, and detailed scope of work generation to ensure an accurate bid response from qualified bidding parties.                                                                  
  • Strong organizational & project management skills, ability to develop & report timelines and status updates
  •  Intermediate skill level with Excel Spreadsheets, Word and PowerPoint (ability to generate quality presentations)
  • Strong analytical skills providing insights and data driven recommendations utilizing data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
