Sodexo is seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer 3 at Moses Cone Hospital located in Greensboro, NC. The Imaging Service Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance for advanced medical imaging equipment. The selected candidate will have experience with MRI/CT, SPECT, and Nuclear Medicine machines.

What You'll Do

  • repair, maintain and calibrate medical imaging devices;
  • make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices; 
  • perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance; and/or
  • document all service activities in accordance with company standards.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of medical imaging experience;
  • experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting;
  • specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment: DiCom, Siemens, Toshiba, Philips, GE Healthcare, XRay, Ultrasound, C-Arm, Cat Scan, MRI/CT, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Wet or Dry Processor, General RF, Clinical Asset Management, Accelerators.
  • solution-oriented approach with excellent communication, customer service and time management skills; and/or
  • scheduling flexibility to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training. Significant factory-level training of imaging equipment contributing to the effectiveness of the organization. Preferred CRES nationally
