Sodexo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Patient Services Manager 2 to support a large healthcare facility in the New York City metro area. If you're passionate about patient satisfaction, operational excellence, and team development, this could be your next great career move!
As the Patient Services Manager 2, you will oversee a team of approximately 40 unionized frontline staff, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality meal services to patients. This hands-on leadership role requires a proactive and collaborative approach to enhance the patient dining experience, streamline operations, and foster a positive work environment. Must be able to work schedule of 5:30a-2:30p, every other weekend.
Manage daily patient dining operations with a focus on quality, compliance, and satisfaction
Provide leadership and support to union staff, promoting teamwork and accountability
Oversee food service purchasing, inventory, and cost controls
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with clinical and support departments to meet patient nutritional needs
Lead initiatives to improve service efficiency, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction

Proven experience managing unionized teams in a food service or healthcare setting
Strong skills in purchasing, ordering, and inventory management
Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare food service environment

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
