Are you a talented Director-level professional with demonstrated success collaborating, and implementing a national Data Quality & Compliance Management program for Healthcare Technology Management? Take note... Sodexo is seeking a national Director for Healthcare Technology to preferably be based in or near Brentwood, Tennessee.

 

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking pro-active / solution-oriented candidates with proven success, who excel at managing a multi-faceted HTM national program focusing on data quality, enterprise standardization, and compliance. If you get excited about being ahead of the pack on regulatory changes, ensuring day-to-day and forthcoming data compliance issues are covered, managing risk and ensuring quality standards are continually enhanced, measured and adhered to, this is the job for you. This impactful role requires an individual experienced, capable and committed to influence and drive critical pieces of the HTM Operations nationally; will serve as SME, educator, advisor, auditor and quality and risk manager. 

     

This position serves as a resource for the implementation and maintenance of a coordinated and integrated Data Compliance, Quality, and Risk Program for Clinical Engineering throughout Sodexo HTM.  The position ensures the directors, management and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and that company policies and procedures are being followed.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain a broad working knowledge in all healthcare regulations and understanding health care regulations pertaining to the management of medical equipment. Continually improve knowledge of regulatory changes. Serve as a resource for all corporate / clinical / regional and corporate entities regarding compliance needs and regulation requirements for the management of medical equipment.
  • Partner with operational / clinical / regional and corporate groups to conduct monitoring activities, implement corrective action plans and evaluate the effectiveness of the data practices and nomenclature standardization. Assess various aspects of documentation as required by the Federal, State, and other regulatory agencies for the management of medical equipment to ensure and enhance patient safety. Measures (survey, monitor, and report) compliance to Federal, State, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise data standardization and data management policies and procedures for the general operation of the HTM Compliance Program and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures. Develop and oversee a system for uniform handling such violations.
  • Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource to others and may act as an advisor for the compliance department, safety committees, risk, and the environment of care, specifically to be utilized in response to the management and use of medical equipment.
  • Analyze the results of internal and external compliance audits, equipment failure reports, equipment service reports, and all other Clinical Engineering Data, and utilize this information to focus on potential education and implementation of corrective action plans to improve overall processes and documentation accuracy throughout the system.
  • Conduct training sessions and audits of Clinical Engineering operational areas to assess and improve understanding of compliance, risk, quality, and regulatory requirements for the management of medical equipment.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 7 years of management experience in healthcare
  • Experience with common medical device nomenclature models such as GUDID, GMDN, and ECRI
  • Experience with building and executing frameworks with large data sets and management of medical device assets.
  • Experience with quality control related to HTM and element of reporting by creation of dashboards to be presented to C-Suite.

Preferred Certification

CCE - Certified Clinical Engineer

CHTM- Certified Healthcare Technology Manager

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 7 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years in maintenance and repair of clinical devices.
