Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Holy Family Hospital, located in Methuen, MA. The Manager oversees the foodservice operation at this location, overseeing a team of hourly and supervisory employees.  The hours for this role may involve some rotating shifts as well as rotating weekend coverage.

 

Holy Family Hospital is a 310-bed full service, acute care hospital with two campuses located in Methuen and Haverhill, Massachusetts. Both locations provide comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatients, and 24.7 emergency services, including eICUs, behavioral health units, cardiac telemetry and critical care service lines. 

 

 

What You'll Do

  • lead a team of hourly employees by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring daily operations in the kitchen and cafe areas
  • oversee the Retail area
  • manage menu development
  • reconcile all financials such as floor stocks, catering, meal counts, customer count, retail revenue
  • effectively schedule staff to meet business needs

What You Bring

  • previous food service (restaurant, hospitality) and/or healthcare experience
  • working knowledge of ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs
  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • demonstrated success with leading and developing staff members
  • have a background in safety and sanitation compliance

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
