Sodexo’s Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Division is seeking a Manager 1, Portable Equipment at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a Portable Equipment Manager, you will partner with client hospital locations to deliver innovative, patient-centered solutions. In this highly visible leadership role, you will help create a clean, safe, and efficient healthcare environment while managing a team responsible for portable medical equipment logistics and support. This role requires exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and patient safety.
Drive client and patient satisfaction by ensuring responsive, high-quality service delivery
Lead, train, and schedule staff to support portable equipment needs across the facility
Provide 24/7 on-call support to resolve urgent portable equipment-related issues
Maintain strong working relationships with hospital leadership, clinical teams, and infection control
Monitor compliance and ensure timely completion of departmental initiatives and equipment projects
Order and manage inventory of supplies, ensuring timely procurement and cost control
Oversee and maintain documentation within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Utilize Excel and other software tools to track performance metrics and project timelines
Ensure a safe and sanitary environment through adherence to hospital standards and procedures

Experience leading and managing teams in healthcare or hospitality environments
