Senior Director, Segment Finance – Government

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Director, Segment Finance for Government services.   The selected candidate will oversee and manage the operational accounting functions within the organization. This role involves ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting operations, developing and implementing effective accounting processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the company’s strategic goals. The Senior Director will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and will be pivotal in driving financial efficiency and integrity across operations.  

 This is a REMOTE-BASED role. Candidates can be based in any US location. 

• Handles general accounting and financial reporting, cost accounting, auditing, budgeting and forecasting, and systems individually and in consultation with Centers of Excellence as appropriate.
• Responsible for providing oversight and direction to Unit Finance.
• Develops departmental plans, including business, production, operational and/or organizational priorities.
• Controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility.
• Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives.
