Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Services Manager 2 for McLean Hospital's southeast campus located in Middleboro, MA.  In this role, you will support Patient food service in a behavioral health hospital.  The manager will oversee a team of 6, including cooks and food service workers  The schedule for this role is mostly Monday-Friday, daytime hours, however the you will need the flexibility to provide weekend coverage occassionally depending upon business needs.

 

 

McLean Southeast is a part of the Mass General Brigham System.  It is a 57 bed Behavioral Health hospital including residential and partial-day programs.  Our 2 Middleboro McLean Southeast sites function cohesively and are in sync with McLean Hospital Belmont.  McLean Hospital is consistently named the top freestanding psychiatric hospital and is know for its high level of care and service provided to patients there.

 

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of patient food service operations
  • deliver high quality Patient food services; coordinate tasks through fronline staff
  • develop and maintain high level of patient satisfaction
  • ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory and standards and that Sodexo standards are met

What You Bring

  • strong culinary background and experience in a food production environment;  healthcare experience preferred
  • experience with Health Touch would be a plus
  • strong time management skills
  • effective leadership skills, with experience motivating and directing a team of frontline employees
