Dietitian Nutritionist I - Healthcare

Sodexo is seeking an Outpatient Registered Dietitian to join the clinical team at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center  in Augusta, GA. This is a full time opportunity with incredible benefits available on your 1st day!  M-F schedule - no weekends.

• be responsible for assessing and monitoring the nutritional health of ambulatory patients;
• develop and implement individualized nutrition plans;
• provide nutrition counseling for individuals, families and groups;
• collaborate with referring physician health care teams to facilitate continuity of care at home and in the community;
• assist the Clinical Nutrition Manager with projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned;
• maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

• A valid registered dietitian credential or candidates who are RD eligible for certification may apply
• Prior experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy guidelines, regulatory standards, and evidence-based medicine
• Prior Experience with EMR (Epic) is a plus
• Strong ability to work well as part of a team, actively communicate with all disciplines, and advocate for the patient

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
