Sodexo is seeking an experienced culinary leader to join the team as a Food Production Manager 3 at Children's Hospital Cincinnati located in Cincinnati, OH. Cincinnati Children's is 500-bed comprehensive pediatric health system. As a leader in research and education, Cincinnati Children’s is consistently ranked as one of America's best children's hospitals by U.S. News & World Report and is one of the top recipients of pediatric research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
This is a 2nd shift role with hours varying from 11am -8pm.
The Food Production Manager 3 at this location will oversee food production, quality, safety, sanitation, and patient trayline. The process used is designed to ensure food is prepped, cooked, and cooled following all health code guidelines while simultaneously meeting and exceeding established quality standards. As Sodexo managers we are required to adhere to a zero-harm safety mindset which is achieved through established policies and procedures with emphasis on safe work programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily food production and ensure compliance with health codes and quality standards.
Maintain a zero-harm safety mindset and enforce safe work programs.
Manage purchasing, inventory control, and stock monitoring using TMC.
Ensure hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with opening/closing procedures.
Foster teamwork and ensure efficient operations.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
