Role Overview

Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact.

 

Sodexo Government Services is looking for a dedicated Food Operations Manager to oversee two Cafes and four National Retail Brands in the Northern, VA area.  This is a high visibility position that requires proven experience in customer service.  You MUST be a US citizen and willing to work in a secured area.  

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for all the financial activities
  • schedule and lead frontline teams, mentoring them in accurate cash handling, operations, open and closing processes
  • ordering and inventory procedures
  • train and manage department HACCP Safety Programs, Sodexo programs and daily operation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
