Role Overview

Sodexo's Finance Continuous Improvement Team is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who is highly organized, detail-oriented, a great communicator and takes pride in the products and services that they support. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and possible solutions by leveraging your knowledge of the business operations and certain applications used by our internal/external customers.  There are currently two applications that this role will directly support: 1- Finance ticketing application called SoFinance, a global ticketing platform for managing inquiries and requests to our Finance Shared Services (FSS) Centers built on the Ivanti software. 2 – Our FSS and Banking HUB along with other Domain level SharePoint sites. 

Incentives

This is a remote position based out of your home office. This position will support a Monday through Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) work period.

What You'll Do

  • Documentation: defining and documenting business needs/goals and translating them into business requirements and a user story 
  • Process Mapping: create and maintain detailed process maps to visualize workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives  
  • Team Coordination: lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration- including business and technical teams
  • Risk Management: identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity
  • Problem-Solving: strong ability to identify issues, analyze and recommend improvements to business processes, systems, and applications 
  • Stakeholder Communication: maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns 
  • Quality Assurance: ensure projects meet quality standards and project deliverables are achieved as per specifications by conducting various testing and troubleshooting to optimize performance
  • Performance Tracking: monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement improvements as needed
  • End-User Adoption/Training: assist in the development of materials and end-user adoption
  • Product Training: keep up-to-date with the various business and technology trends within the specific application/software utilized (Ivanti, SharePoint)

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies 
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in process improvements and standardization
  • Experience with ticketing systems and SharePoint is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years
