Sodexo is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at LHP Mountainside Hospital, a full service community hospital offering high quality care in a welcoming environment. As a key leader in our culinary operations, you'll help elevate the patient and guest dining experience while supporting daily kitchen operations and food production. 

 

Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in managing food production for patient services, retail dining, and catering
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and food safety
  • Lead, train, and mentor culinary staff in a fast paced healthcare setting 
  • Collaborate with Executive Chef and Food Service Managers on menu development and innovation

What You Bring

  • Experience in a Sous Chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for scratch cooking and nutrition
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance 
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and communicate effectively with team members
