Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a Catering Manager 3 to join our team at John Hancock Financial in Boston MA.

The Catering Manager oversees all catering for John Hancock Financial.  The catering services we provide range from day to day catering, drop off catering to high-end events from cocktail receptions.

Incentives

Predominately a M-F schedule with some evenings

What You'll Do

  • Detailing to execution of high end events
  • Overseeing drop off catering: ensuring on time catering deliveries
  • Managing a team of 2 non-union hourly full time employees
  • Working with our Executive Chef on catering menus
  • Vendor relations
  • Managing room logistics for events
  • Interacting with our clients; event negotiations
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
