Sodexo is seeking a dynamic career opportunity for a Human Resources Manager 3 for Grady Health.  Grady Health is situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta, GA. It's a level 1 trauma hospital consisting of 603 beds.  The Human Resources Manager will report to the General Manager and provide on-site support to approximately 15 Sodexo managers and 270 plus hourly employees on all hospital/Sodexo policies and procedures, HR initiatives and training. Previous Human Resources experience in a healthcare operation would be helpful. This position will manage both the main hospital and the Crestview Rehabilitation Center.

What You Bring

The successful candidate will:

  • support Human Resources functions for front-line staff including but not limited to; recruitment, employee relations, on-boarding, training, payroll, legal compliance, benefits, worker’s compensation and FMLA.
  • manage the application/resume file.
  • recruit with a focus on front-line recruiting.
  • manage payroll set-up and problem resolutions.
  • present HR related training for unit managers.
  • communicate effectively and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization; including clients, executives, managers and front-line staff.
  • demonstrate strong verbal, written and presentation skills; and/or
  • have a solid understanding of HR functions and all policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years          

Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
