Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our team and help ensure the safe and effective operation of medical equipment throughout the Moses Cone Hospital system in the Reidsville, NC area. 

What You'll Do

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on biomedical equipment;

  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and failures promptly;

  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools;

  • Support new equipment installations and testing; and/or

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests.

What You Bring

  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred;
  • Decision making capabilities to troubleshoot and repair medical devices;
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and basic networking theory;
  • 1 year of experience in biomedical, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting; and
  • Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
